Lakes in the Alp­bach­tal Seen­landJust a few min­utes from Kram­sach vil­lage cen­tre the land­s­cape changes. A long, long time ago glaciers shaped small round hills that al­most re­sem­ble green eg­g­heads. Be­tween th­ese humps wa­ter has re­mained to this day and forms the "Rein­taler Seen­platte" (Lake Plateau). It com­pris­es five lakes, on which you will find nei­ther sail­ing nor mo­tor­ized boats – swim­ming and row­ing is the call of the day! The par­tic­u­lar­i­ty of the area is that Ty­rol’s warmest bathing lakes lie in this sun kissed spot and thus the lakes are gent­ly heat­ed. How about a dip in the cool - warm wa­ter.
